Why is this black? Black doesn't get this kind of control - it gets kill, -X/-Y, and discard, not interfering with abilities. That's white and sometimes blue.

Also, removing all abilities from a creature can have... Interesting side-effects, because some creatures have undefined P/T. Consider Pack Rat. (Otoh, if a card that removed abilities without setting P/T were printed, they'd add a rule saying that undefined P/T is 0, so maybe it's not worth worrying about.)

Sometimes flavor gets over me. But if I'm going to do a top-down design, then I should pick the right mechanics. I wouldn't like forever alone not to be black, but in that case it would need some tweaking. Thanks for posting!

Could easily be white. The "forever alone" mentality is the sort of fatalism white sometimes succumbs to - and this fits white mechanically.

It's actually the exact opposite of black. A mono-black character who felt that way would probably go and do something about it - black is the color of ambition, y'know?

True, but those are all acute emotions with the intent of causing death. This does the exact opposite of causing death. Mechanically it's very white, and flavor-wise it's not the kind of emotion black likes to instill.

We are nerds.
